Melody Carey is a Chicagoland-born, San Francisco-based award-winning filmmaker and photographer. She recently produced the short film “The Phoenix” (2022), which was accepted into 35 festivals, and won 17 awards, including Best Short Film, Audience Choice, Outstanding Director, Best Editing, Best Actress and more.

 

In addition to filmmaking, Melody has worked as a Producer in video and event production for clients such as Microsoft, ESPN, Intel, Cartier, Accenture, Deloitte, Pfizer, Experian, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Polygon, Genesys, and the Apollo Theater. As a freelance photographer, Melody enjoys shooting branded content, editorials, live shows, couple and engagement sessions, as well as documenting her travels and time spent in nature.
