Melody Carey is an award-winning film & video producer and photographer. She recently produced the short film “The Phoenix” which was accepted into 35 festivals, and won 17 awards, including Best Short Film and the Grand Jury Prize. Her current project, Pearl Rising, an experimental film, combining dance, visual effects, and poetry was filmed in partnership with Orbital Studios and is set to premiere on the film festival circuit in early 2026.

 

In addition to filmmaking, Melody has worked as a Producer in video and event production for clients such as Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, ESPN, Intel, Cartier, Accenture, Deloitte, Pfizer, Experian, and the Apollo Theater. As a photographer, Melody enjoys shooting branded content, editorials, live shows, couple and engagement sessions, as well as documenting her travels and time spent in nature.

 

Melody hopes to use her passion for visual mediums as a vehicle for positive impact and change for under-represented voices.
